Help us Save Bron

Bron (named after Lebron James) came into our lives August 2024 when we found her on the side of the highway at 7 weeks old. Since then, she has had many health struggles. Initially she was diagnosed with a feline URI (upper respiratory infection) which we tried many times to correct but were unsuccessful. Over time, her breathing became increasingly difficult, her neck would swell out like a male grouse, she had chronic congestion, kept regurgitating, was lethargic, and underweight. Friday June 20, 2025 we brought Bron in for a re-examination because we knew something was wrong and there was no way it was just a URI. The vet performed bloodwork and an Xray and discovered a rare condition called megaesophagus. The vet is under the suspicion that this enlargement of her esophagus was due to a polyp extending from her nose, down her throat, and possibly into her ear. They performed a CT scan to confirm the diagnosis and prepare for a surgery to remove the polyp to cure Bron. We are praying for a smooth surgical removal of the polyp however the vet bill is extensive and far more than we were anticipating when we brought her in for an exam. We are hopeful to raise as much as we can to save our fur baby. Her birthday is this friday June 27, 2025 and we would love nothing more than to see her playing and finally healthy. Bron is not just a cat to us, she is our baby that we bottle fed from 7 weeks old. We would do anything to give her a chance at life and health. If you are able to, any donation is very appreciated.
