This is not a common plea. my dear friend Arletys who hasn’t yet held her child, but already carries the weight of knowing that when she does, it will be in an intensive care unit, surrounded by tubes, machines, and desperate decisions.

Her son Alan will be born with a devastating condition: Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome — which means that half of his heart simply didn’t develop. Without immediate surgery, he has no chance of survival.

Can you imagine waiting for your baby’s birth, knowing that the first sound they’ll hear will be a machine breathing for them?

My friend Arletys has found a place at one of the most advanced hospitals in Europe: Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, in Barcelona. They have the experience, the resources, and the skilled medical team. The only thing we’re missing... is the money.

€362,000 stands between life and loss. Every euro goes toward saving his life: the delivery, the open heart surgery, life support, ICU stays, follow-ups... everything he’ll need to survive.

Este no es un llamado común. Esto es un grito silencioso de una madre mi amiga Arletys que aún no ha sostenido a su hijo, pero ya vive con el peso de saber que cuando lo haga, será en una sala de cuidados intensivos, rodeado de tubos, máquinas y decisiones desesperadas.

Su hijo Alan nacerá con una condición devastadora: Síndrome del Corazón Izquierdo Hipoplásico, lo que significa que la mitad de su corazón simplemente no se desarrolló. Sin cirugía inmediata, no

tiene ninguna posibilidad de vida.

Mi amiga ha conseguido un lugar en uno de los hospitales más avanzados de Europa, el Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, en Barcelona. Ellos tienen la experiencia, los medios y el equipo humano. Lo único que nos falta... es el dinero.

€362.000 es lo que nos separa entre la vida y la pérdida. Cada euro cubre una parte del tratamiento: el parto, las cirugías de corazón, la asistencia vital, las estancias en UCI, el seguimiento... todo lo que puede salvarlo.
