Target: £60,000 | For Urgent Cancer Treatment Not Available in the UK
Hi, my name is Rhyanna, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit.
My beautiful Aunty Sharron is facing the fight of her life, a devastating cancer diagnosis that has turned our entire world upside down. She urgently needs to raise £60,000 for life-saving treatment only available abroad, and we’re asking for your help to give her a second chance.
Why Your Help Matters
Aunty Sharron isn’t just a mother, a wife, a sister, and a friend, she’s the glue that holds our family together. She also has custody of her 14-year-old grandson, who she’s raised since he was a baby. Right now, her greatest fear isn’t dying, it’s leaving all the people she loves without the person they depend on most. Especially at such a young age, she should have another 30+ years left in her.
The treatment we’re fundraising for gives real hope. It’s not available through the NHS and offers the only potential path to remission. Without it, her prognosis is heartbreaking.
Aunty Sharron’s Story
For over a year, Aunty Sharron pushed her GP for answers as she suffered from unexplained pain and discomfort. It wasn’t until March 2025 that she was finally offered a scan, which revealed suspicious cysts. Despite this, even more delays continued.
In April 2025, she was hospitalised with unbearable pain. That’s when we received the devastating news: Metastatic Bowel Cancer, which has now spread to her liver, spleen, lungs and pelvis and cannot be cured by the NHS.
She was fitted with a bowel stent and sent home to wait, yet again. It was then that we realised we couldn’t rely on the system to save her. We had to act fast. We were shattered, but we refused to give up. Myself, my sister, my dad/her brother, her sons and many other friends and relatives have all helped with researching ways to cure her, as the NHS cannot provide any treatment that will offer a cure or prolong her life. Aunty Sharron is currently following a strict diet and doing as much holistic practices as possible to fuel and nourish her body.
The Hope: Treatment Abroad
After speaking to doctors and specialists across the world, as well as researching tirelessly, our family found a hospital in Germany offering a combination of immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and tri-functional antibodies. This is a cutting-edge approach tailored to her cancer which gives her a real shot at remission and hopefully a cure. It’s her only option, and we’re working hard to make it happen (including organising a summer fair).
How You Can Help:
Donate – Any amount, no matter how small, brings us closer to saving her life.
Share – Please spread the word far and wide. More eyes = more hearts = more help.
Support our Summer Fair – We’re planning a community fundraiser in July 2025. If you can offer prizes, services or volunteer time. Please get in touch!
Send Love – Prayers, encouragement, and messages of support are more powerful than you know.
To offer help in any way or enquire about/help with the fundraiser, see link below.
The Costs
The treatment cost is estimated at €47,000, but with travel, accommodation, aftercare, and Aunty Sharron’s lost income as a business owner, we’re aiming to raise £60,000.
Your donations will help cover:
- Specialist consultations
- Cancer treatment
- Post-treatment care & hospital stays
- Medication, lab work, and therapy
- Accommodation & travel expenses
- Recovery support
- Assistance with regular bills and the cost of living during treatment
Every single pound brings us closer to keeping her here with us, where she belongs.
A Final Word from Me
My Aunty Sharron is the kindest, most giving person I know. She is the heart of our family. She is vibrant, selfless, and a rock to so many including the wider community she’s always supported.
She never imagined needing to ask for help. But here I am, asking for her and for her grandchildren, her husband, her sons, her siblings, and my 90-year-old grandma, who can’t bear the thought of losing another child.
She is so loved, so needed, and so full of life. I’m asking for your compassion, your kindness, and your support to help us bring her back to the life she deserves.
Please, be part of this fight. Be part of her miracle.
If you made it this far, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Love from

Update (23/06/25) from Aunty Sharron:
Firstly, I would like to thank everybody from the bottom of my heart for all of the love, support and donations. It has been really overwhelming but so heart warming at the same time. I cannot express in words how thankful I am.
Last week I travelled to Germany to visit the 2 hospitals we have been communicating with. After some more scans, blood tests and consultations I was provided with the overall cost for the first round of treatment.
The first hospital we attended quoted me 54,811.40euros, they require 100% of the cost to be paid upfront before treatment can begin, as it would require a 7 day stay.
The second hospital unfortunately does not have space to take me on as a patient at the moment, but confirmed once the cancer shrinks they can offer me surgery and discuss costs when the time comes depending on how much needs removing. This was good to hear as the UK has ruled out surgery completely.
For the time being I am seeking alternative private methods here in the UK to prevent my cancer from spreading/growing until I have raised the funds to travel back to Germany. Although this is disappointing, we are remaining hopeful and positive.
I am looking forward to seeing you all at the Summer Fair, to thank you in person.
Warm regards, Sharron x
