Help Us Save At-Risk Dogs & Cats (New Van Needed)

OUR CAUSE:

We are Pet Adoption Fund, a non-profit, no-kill shelter in Southern California, and we need your help! 

Pet Adoption Fund has been rescuing dogs and cats and placing them into loving, forever homes for more than 35 years.  Thousands of dogs & cats have come through our doors over the years, and the demand for our services to save more lives is ongoing and never ending.  

Right now, we urgently need a new CARGO VAN, so we can continue our good work.  Our current 20-year-old van is no longer reliable mechanically and is ready to retire.   We regularly use our van to make long trips to high-kill shelters all over Southern California, rescuing pets who are in grave danger of losing their lives.  Our dedicated volunteers take the time to make these trips, and some of these trips require driving on desert highways, in 100+ heat, and sometimes in the dark.  So a safe, and air-conditioned large vehicle is a must for these type of operations.  

We recently rescued nine dogs from a Riverside County animal shelter (video below), an all-day event, driving over 100+ miles through city traffic and desert highway, and thankfully we were able to save (9) lives in one day, and all were transported to our facility in Canoga Park, CA. 
In addition, we use our van to transport our rescued pets to veterinary appointments so they can receive the best care, including spay/neuter procedures, special surgeries and dental cleanings.  Non of this work would be possible without a large, reliable, safe, and a climate controlled vehicle. 

We do realize that it's a big ticket item we are asking for, but we plan on keeping it in the family for many years to come. 

Please consider donating any amount - no amount is too small.  Having a reliable and safe transportation directly impacts the work we do.  So we really need your support to make this happen!
