Help Us Save Anni!

Hello! I’m Jenn and I’m Annika’s auntie. Her “mom” is Missy, and we would like your help. Last month, Anni stopped putting weight on one of her hind legs. The E-vet gave her an x-ray and a really bad preliminary report: bone cancer. Unfortunately, it has been difficult to get her treatment and a definitive diagnosis. We’ve finally gotten an appointment with an oncologist and have started testing. So far we are already $2000 in the hole and we haven’t even figured out for sure if it’s cancer! No matter what it is, she will most likely have to have her leg amputated. Depending on the type of cancer, she may need chemotherapy. She is only 2.5 years old and is a very happy girl who loves people and other fuzzies. She also loves to play fetch, sing, and bark at horses on TV. We love her dearly and want to try and keep her around for as long as we can. This amount may change once we know more about what the future will bring, but this is the guesstimate I have so far with amputation and associated testing included.
