Help us Save 6 FIP Death Row Rescue Kittens

Hi! My name is Oak. My mama was rescued from a group in Northern BC by Cat Therapy & Rescue Society and I was born in my foster's house. By week 11 my foster hoomans started to notice my left eye color changing, I was running fevers, becoming weak and withdrawn. I was not myself at all. The vet gave me antibiotics for infection and eye drops. But that wasn't enough. Approaching my 14th week I started to lose bladder control and have seizures. Small ones at first but then they came faster and faster.....stronger and stronger. I couldn't control my body and I was screaming in pain and so scared. My hoomans stayed up all day and night with me trying to get me help and medicine. That night was so bad that in the morning they rushed me to emergency because I had stopped eating and my body was getting cold. I had given up. I have dry ocular neuro FIP and the vets said I was going to die. They said I needed to be euthanized immediately.
But my hoomans kept fighting and they got me what I needed! So I fought for one more day hooked up to machines....and they took me home to start the grueling treatments even though they were told I wouldn't make it through the night. Now I'm receiving everything that I need. I'm on day 14, dose #17 and the change is nothing short of miraculous. I can play again. I can jump and run and purr.... my fosters look at me with tears in their eyes because they had started to think this wasn't going to be possible. My FIP treatments have just begun. I will need medicine for more than 90 days and it is very very expensive - but worth every penny.
FIP is considered a death sentence by many. In Rescue, many of us have already come from horrible situations and we know they are doing the best they can with limited means. This means that they can't treat FIP kittens. But my foster hoomans are trying to change that.......and I'm still here!
We have 4 other kitties right now that are being treated for FIP and urgently need your help. The rescue can't afford to treat them - as much as they absolutely want to - the medicine and supplies we need is way beyond their means. This is why most Rescue cats with FIP are euthanized when quality of life is no longer. That doesn't have to be the way though! Together we can change that! My fosters are fighting hard to save all of us. Mama and our little hooman Hanna believe that we deserve a chance. They aren't giving up. Please help my rescue friends and I have a chance at a beautiful life.
