Hi, we’re Mike and Rob — two mates, two dads, one mission.

Over May Bank Holiday 2026, we’re taking on a challenge that’s physically brutal and emotionally loaded: running 200 miles over two days from Hull City’s MKM Stadium to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. No hotels. No sleep. Just grit, pain, laughter, support and purpose.

We’re doing it for CALM, the Campaign Against Living Miserably, a charity working to stop suicide and support anyone struggling with life. In the UK, 18 people take their own lives every single day. That’s not just a statistic. That’s someone’s dad, son, sister or best mate. It’s real. And it’s personal.

About Mike

Mike is a proud Hull City fan, a devoted dad of two boys, and a former Royal Marines Commando. He’s the kind of man who carries others even when he’s carrying weight himself. He’s seen the damage silence can do, both during his military service and in civilian life. His boys are his foundation, his fuel and the reason he drives so hard at everything he does. His love for them will never be matched by anything in this world. This run is another way he’s showing them and everyone else what strength, heart and action really look like.

About Rob

Rob is a lifelong Spurs fan, a father to a brilliant little boy, and a former serving member of the Army Reserves. He’s also know as RunLikeRob on social media. He understands the power of checking in with your mates, talking things through, and using movement to manage mental health. This challenge is his way of proving that no matter how tough life gets, there is always a path forward and there is always someone who cares.

We’ve both faced our own battles and we’ve both lost people we care about. Now we’ve made a promise. If we can help just one person feel less alone, more seen or more hopeful, then every single mile is worth it.

This is not about medals. It’s about making noise. It’s about reaching people who feel invisible. It’s about proving that men do not have to suffer in silence.
