Help us return home with my beloved dog, Barbara.

On September 28, 2024, I arrived in Tunisia for a short vacation. While exploring one of the districts in Nabeul, I came across a shop where animals were kept in cramped cages on a busy street, under the scorching sun. In one of those cages, I saw a small, terrified puppy. She was exhausted, dehydrated, and scared. I couldn’t just walk past her. I bought her from the heartless seller, determined to give her a chance for a better life.

At the time, I didn’t know how strict the procedures for bringing animals into the UK were. From that moment, Barbara became my companion, and I’ve done everything to meet all the health and administrative requirements. Thankfully, Barbara passed all her tests, including those for antibodies, with positive results. However, the UK authorities remain firm – I must wait another three months for her entry permit.

From the moment I bought Barbara, it has now been nearly three months, and I’m still stuck in Tunisia. This situation has drained all my savings. The cost of living for both of us is more than I can afford, and my resources are running out. I’m approaching the limit on my credit card and struggle daily to earn something online, but it’s not enough to cover our expenses. Additionally, Barbara suffers from separation anxiety, so leaving her in quarantine for an extended period is unthinkable.

I kindly ask for your support – even the smallest contribution will help us survive this difficult time and finally make it back home. Barbara is a wonderful dog who deserves a peaceful and happy life, and I will do everything in my power to provide that for her. You are our last hope. Thank you for any help you can offer!
