As we are approaching a post-COVID world, Hockey on Your Block  is excited to safely get back out on the ice! The pandemic has had a significant impact on virtually every facet of life. Unfortunately, the cancellation of sports programming in 2020 decreased physical activity among children and had significant mental health consequences including anxiety and depression. This decreased access to organized sports has been recognized as a public health issue and is why we understand the urgency of returning to our regular programming.

This spring and summer we are looking forward to rebuilding our community ties we have missed so much! We will be hosting four Learn To Skate and Hockey Programming events on the South and West sides of the city. There will be 50 participants allowed on the ice at a time and we predict normal participation of 100 skaters will be allowed for our fall season.

Here are a few examples of what your donation provides:

        $50 Provides USA Hockey yearly registration fees for one student.
        $100 Supports cost of one educational PowerPlay program event. 
        $250 Sponsors one student for one year of on-ice participation.
        $500 Provides a complete equipment kit for one player.
        $1,000 Provides ice time for a month of programming.
