Help Us Restore Heat and Comfort at Home

I know so many people are in need and having issues right now, but I am desperate to try and straighten things out for my family. Our gas got disconnected a few months ago, and I have been struggling to get it back on.

My mom lives with me and can no longer work. She has fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. I also have fibromyalgia and a bad back and sometimes can’t even get out of bed, so I’ve been missing a lot of work, which has made me get behind in pretty much everything.

Not being able to turn on the heat on these nights where it has gotten cold unfortunately really affects my fibro and pain levels. I can’t get it turned on without $900. It may not seem like much to some people, but when you’re behind and struggling with making ends meet, it’s a lot.

I am not someone who asks for help, but I am desperate. I am feeling defeated and am asking for any help if you are able to do so. I am hoping once I get my health and pain in better management or more manageable that I can pick up a second job.
