Help Us Rescue and Care for War-Impacted Dogs

Donation protected
UPDATE - 07/01/2024
Hi everyone, thank you so much for your generous donations. Dog Farm has managed to rescue, care for, rehome and treat nearly 150 dogs thanks to you. The donations provided were used for food, staff, shelter and veterinary care over the months of November and December when business was tough. As many of the dogs have now been rehomed to a loving family, or have found their way back to their original families, Dog Farm is now able to sustain the daily necessities for the dogs they are caring for at the kennels. I have therefore switched off donations for this fundraiser. If you are interested in donating to another cause in relation to this conflict, I urge you to donate to Magen David Adom who are working tirelessly on the ground. THANKS AGAIN <3

About Me:
I'm an Israeli living in Melbourne, Australia. My roots are deeply embedded in the beautiful Moshav Beit Halevi in Central Israel, where my family owns and operates pet boarding kennels which have been operating for over 40 years. Growing up, I had the privilege of spending my days playing with the dogs in our kennels, developing a profound love and connection with these wonderful animals. As the conflict rages on, my family and their unwavering dedication to providing care for dogs and cats impacted by the turmoil have become my greatest inspiration and motivation. Despite the distance, I am determined to support their mission and do everything I can to help ensure the well-being of these furry companions who are going through challenging times. Your support means the world to me and to these dogs, and together, we can make a difference. Thank you for joining me on this journey.

About Dog Farm:
Dog Farm , located in the peaceful Moshav Beit Halevi in Central Israel, has been a beacon of hope and compassion during these tumultuous times. In the wake of the ongoing conflict, they have been tirelessly dedicated to rescuing and caring for dogs and cats whose families have been affected by the tragic events of the war. Many of these dogs have lost their homes, families, or have been injured during the crisis. Many of these dogs and cats belong to soldiers who have been drafted to the frontlines at a moment's notice. Dog Farm has stepped up, offering a safe haven and a second chance for these innocent animals.

Our Mission:
Throughout the first three weeks of this war, Dog Farm has opened its doors and hearts to over 40 dogs and cats in need. Their commitment to providing a loving and nurturing environment for these canine companions is unwavering. They are resolute in their mission to continue assisting families and animals during this challenging period, free of charge. Most of these dogs belong to families evacuated from the war zone. Their villages were under attack on October 7th, and are still being bombed every day. The dogs have families that miss them and that eventually will get them back, we just don't know when. These dogs were living with sirens, bombs and shooting overhead, they now are in the safest place in Israel where they can enjoy the peace and quiet of the Moshav, no sirens here, no bombing. A lot of the work the staff did at first was psychological, helping the dogs relax and feel safe again.

The Challenge:
To ensure the well-being of these dogs, Dog Farm incurs substantial monthly expenses. These costs cover the absolute basics: food, clean water, shelter, veterinary care, and the dedicated staff who tend to the dogs' physical and emotional needs. It's important to note that these expenses do not include overheads like electricity, which are essential for the day-to-day operations.

Our Appeal:
I am reaching out to you, my compassionate global community, to help sustain the incredible work being done by Dog Farm. To continue offering refuge to dogs who have suffered unimaginable hardships, they need financial support. Our goal is to raise $12,000 per month, an amount that ensures the dogs' necessities are met and their well-being is guaranteed. Every donation counts and will make a significant impact in providing these dogs with a brighter future.

Pay It Forward:
We believe in the power of kindness and unity. Any funds donated beyond what Dog Farm requires will be directly paid forward to other kennels and shelters in Israel that are working tirelessly to save the lives of not only dogs but also cats, birds, and other animals affected by the ongoing war. Your support will have a ripple effect, helping animals and families across the nation during these trying times.

Join me in supporting Dog Farm's mission to care for war-impacted dogs and contribute to a brighter future for these innocent animals as well as their beloved families who cannot wait to be reunited with them. Your generosity can make a real difference in their lives and in the lives of other animals in need.

Together, we can provide a glimmer of hope and a sanctuary for those who have lost so much. Please donate today and share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks to maximise our impact.

Thank you for your kindness and compassion.

Every little bit helps. Together, we can make a big difference for our four-legged survivors.
