Help Us Represent NT in Sydney!

Hi everyone!

We’re a team of six Year 8 students from Dripstone Middle School in Darwin, and we’ve just won the Territory Final of the Tournament of Minds – Social Sciences Division!

Now, we’ve been given the amazing opportunity to represent the Northern Territory at the International Finals in Sydney this October — but we need your help to get there.

What is Tournament of Minds?

It’s a national competition that challenges students in critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. We worked hard on a complex social sciences challenge, and our teamwork and ideas helped us take home first place in the NT!

✈️ Why We’re Raising Funds

Traveling from Darwin to Sydney — including flights, accommodation, uniforms, meals, and event costs — comes with a big price tag. We’re aiming to raise $20,000 to help cover the full cost for our team of six students and a supervising teacher.
