Help us replace the Village Christmas Lights

The Shrivenham village Christmas tree lights and the lights that adorn the streetlights each year are provided and maintained by the Fete Committee.

They are starting to look a bit worn and shabby, and they aren’t particularly coordinated anymore - yes, I am still referring to the Christmas lights, although I’m starting to understand how they might feel - and this year we would like to replace them.

As with most things worthwhile these days, this is an incredibly expensive undertaking, so we’re asking you, the fabulous people of Shrivenham, for your help. We’ve researched what would look stunning, and at roughly £700 per decoration, it’s not something that we can fund entirely by ourselves.

I do hope that you can help us, in any way you can, to achieve our goal of brightening up our village high street at Christmas time.
