Help Us REPLACE our Youth Church VAN!
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Supporters,
We come to you with a heartfelt request and an absolute sense of urgency. On January 13, 2025, our church van (2006 Ford E-350) was tragically totaled in an unforeseen accident. This van was more than just a vehicle; it was a vital vehicle of our youth ministry, which serves an average of 30 young people age 3 – 18 weekly.
All 12 passengers were transported to the Emergency Room, with one individual being kept overnight for observations. Three major injuries were – fractured hip, fractured nose and a cut in the child’s liver. As of this date, all are recovering well praise the Lord.
As a non-denominational, inner-city, and diverse church, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for our youth. For most of these young individuals, the church van was their only means of transportation to our programs and activities. It allowed them to participate in outings, service projects, and other services—experiences that have a lasting positive impact on their lives.
We are reaching out to you, our community and beyond, to help us raise $20,000 to purchase a newer, low-mileage 15-passenger van. This goal will enable us to continue our vital work and ensure that no youth is left behind due to transportation barriers.
Your generous donation will directly support:
• Safe and reliable transportation for our youth
• Continued participation in services, outings and other activities
• Empowering our young people to become positive contributors to society
No contribution is too small, and every dollar brings us closer to our goal. Your support will make a tangible difference in the lives of our youth and help us continue to foster a sense of community, hope, and resilience.
Thank you for your consideration and generosity. Together, we can make a magnificent impact and ensure that our youth ministry continues to thrive.
With gratitude,
Pastor James R Hamp
