On Monday, March 18, our family faced an unexpected crisis when our only car was totaled. As soon as we got home, we discovered that our water heater had also gone out, leaving us without hot water. These back-to-back emergencies have made it incredibly difficult to manage daily life and keep up with our responsibilities.

Our car was our only way to get three adults to and from work each day. It's also how we make sure our minor child, who has Autism, can get to important medical appointments. Without reliable transportation, we're struggling to keep up with work and provide the care our child needs. On top of that, not having hot water at home has added even more stress to an already overwhelming situation.
