So, after replacing our washer and dryer earlier this year, we found out that our nearly 70-year-old pipes need replacing, as they are providing a constant, slow leak after the installation of the washer. Getting this taken care of is important, due to the age of our home. We've had so many repairs and things to replace recently, that having more damage dealt to the home would be devastating. It's taken us a few months to get a plumber out, due to being a low-income home. My father is a senior and can only work so much, and my mother and I are physically disabled and unable to work. We do our best, but we have very limited means.

As it stands, the hopeful price is around $750. However, if things go poorly, it could be upwards to $1500. Ideally, it would stay well within the $750, but as Murphy's Law dictates, I am setting the goal to be the maximum amount, to be prepared for the worst.
