Please Help Us Replace Belongings Stolen in Uhaul

My sister, Kelsey, and her partner, Joe, had their entire Uhaul stolen, with every single thing they own, their whole lives packed away, inside. Before driving from San Diego to Seattle to relocate for a new job, they spent a day meticulously packing and arranging everything they owned into the back of their Uhaul truck. They stopped at my house in Oakland to sleep for the night.
When they woke up to leave in the morning, they walked outside to discover their parking spot was empty and the entire Uhaul truck was gone. Hoping it was just towed, it was a true nightmare to discover it had been stolen with everything they owned. Later that day, thanks to a good samaritan tip, they found the truck 10 miles away parked in front of a house. It had been completely ransacked. Nearly all of their belongings were gone — including sentimental heirlooms like a family bible from the 1800s with ancestor births, marriages, and death records that are all irreplaceable. Joe's nice camera, hard drive with photos, and a computer were also gone as well Kelsey’s lifetime of journals from the past 15 years!
They will need to replace every item they need for their daily lives and new home. They are absolutely devastated and heartbroken over the stolen items that can't be replaced, those ingrained with memories and meaning from building a life. Unfortunately, their stolen belongings are not covered by insurance. On top of the huge sentimental losses they are facing, they have to deal with the expenses of rebuilding their life from scratch, all while moving to a new city. They need to buy all new belongings — everything from clothes to furniture to other household items and pay towing fees on the Uhaul, too.
