Salvi was left to die on a remote road in Yucatán — but he didn’t give up.

He was dragging his broken body across the pavement, blind in one eye, skeletal from starvation, and covered in ticks. His right eye had been bitten by another dog, left to rot, causing constant pain and infection.

Despite the trauma, Salvi fought to survive.

And even when he was rescued, life didn’t immediately get better.

He had an adopter in Canada — the adoption fell through. He had another potential home — that one didn’t work out either. Salvi has come so close to safety so many times, only to be let down again and again.

But now, he’s finally home.

At Tejido, Salvi is safe — forever. He’s gaining weight, building trust, and healing. He’ll never be abandoned again.
