My name is Cheryl Comer. I know many families are struggling like ours. There is no room for unexpected expenses in our budget. Our financial hardships began snowballing in November when the radiator in my truck needed to be replaced. One week later, I lost my job. I quickly found new employment, but with a month lapse in pay. We were forced to move into a cheaper rental house. The same week we moved, the alternator in my truck went out. We did not have the funds for repairs, so it has been sitting ever since. In February, we had the flu for 12 days. I missed several days of work. While we were sick, our refrigerator went out. We are currently using two dorm-size fridges. This week, my son and I were involved in a car accident. His car is totaled, and now we have no transportation.

We are asking for help in paying for repairs to replace the alternator in my truck so I can get to work and not fall further behind. Any contribution to help us would be greatly appreciated.
