My name is Nicholas, and I’m reaching out for help after an unexpected setback that’s made life much harder for both me and my girlfriend, Polly. Polly is disabled and often struggles with mobility—some days, she’s even bedridden. I recently bought a car so I could drive her to doctor’s appointments, help her get around the city, and manage my own work needs. Unfortunately, just a month after buying the car, the radiator broke and now the engine needs to be replaced. This has left us without reliable transportation at a time when we need it most.
