After being denied by my insurance company twice and exhausting every possible resource, I am turning to the kindness of my community as my last hope. Since 2021, I have been on unpaid medical leave and designated SMI, making this time even more overwhelming for my family and me.

Our home is no longer safe. Severe mold has spread into six of our eight rooms, threatening our health every day. The ceiling has collapsed from storm damage, leaks run underneath the house, and the exterior walls are falling in. What should be a place of refuge has become dangerous and unlivable.

We urgently need help to repair the ceiling, remove the mold, fix the leaks, and restore the walls before conditions worsen. These repairs are not cosmetic—they are essential for survival, health, and safety.

The funds raised here will go directly toward making our home habitable again. We are doing everything we can to hold on, but we cannot do this alone.
