Hi everyone,

This is something I never thought I’d be writing, but life has really thrown us off course lately. My name’s Diane, I’m a mum of two and wife to a very hard-working husband.

Recently, our family car was involved in a hit-and-run, and it’s left us in a really difficult position. The damage is significant, and our insurance company is now considering writing the car off rather than repairing it, likely due to its age.

Under normal circumstances, we would find a way to manage. But right now, we’re already dealing with financial pressure and existing debt, and replacing a car just isn’t something we’re able to do.

This car isn’t a luxury for us it’s essential for day-to-day life, from getting to work, to extra mural runs and simply keeping things running as a family.

We’ve created this page in the hope of raising enough to either repair the car or put towards a reliable replacement.
