Hi, We are Jean Luc and Angel.

As we are the custodians and managers, we are creating a GoFundMe on behalf of Cornercopia which was robbed and needs repairs.

We understand the value our little shop brings to the community in terms of its interconnectivity and community impact, and long to continue our wonderful place on the highstreet and in the lives of our wonderful neighbors and visitors.

We are quickly trying to raise £6,000 to recover our losses and ensure the shop security for the future. We need your help to repair our damaged shutter, replace stolen equipment, so we can keep trading and continue serving our communtiy.

People have question why our insurance wouldn't cover it.

-Unfortunately our shutter was in already in need of repair when the break-in occurred.

We just had a big Plant Sale the weekend prior to help get us closer to funding its repair and out of danger, then the worst thing happened!

This is an urgent appeal because while we have managed to quickly repair our kicked in front door glass, our shutter remain broken, which is leaving us vulnerable to a repeat incident.

Yesterday, sadly our store was the victim of a break-in that caused significant damage to our storefront and store.

While we're incredibly grateful that no employees (or plants, let's be clear) were injured, the damage has left us facing unexpected repair costs that threaten our ability to operate normally and continue serving our community.

As a small local business, we work hard every day to provide a welcoming place for our customers and support the neighborhood we call home.

And honestly, we love it!

The friends we've made, holding a peaceful space for our community, and growing as a business in a community we love!

And we love sharing that with everyone that graces our green little oasis- in good ol' Streatham! Yet, with so many useful and lovely shops disappearing in the high street, we don't want to be another casualty, with something that is out of our control. SO, shop safety is critical!

Unfortunately, the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged shutter has been a challenge for us. We were almost there!

At the moment, improving security, and covering emergency repairs is more than we can comfortably absorb on our own, so we're reaching out for community support.

We're asking for the community's help to get back on our feet-and keep Streatham High Street that bit greener!

Every contribution—whether it's £5 or £500—will go directly toward:
