Help us remember Tracey O'Brien

Donation protected
We were devastated to learn of the death of Tracey O'Brien. Tracey was a familiar face in Lower Clapton, where she has been homeless for a number of years - she would often sit outside the vets on Lower Clapton Road.

Tracey's death has sparked an outpouring from local people, with piles of flowers being left at Tracey's spot and over 200 people joining a WhatsApp group to organise a memorial.

We are raising funds to remember Tracey. We are planning a permanent memorial, either a tree or a bench, and perhaps a mural or mosaic made by a local artists at Tracey's spot. We are also hoping to give a significant donation to a local homelessness charity - if we have enough, we hope to name a bed at a local hostel in Tracey's memory.

We would be very grateful for any donations to help us establish a fitting memorial to this kind and much loved person and to make a real difference to local charities. We have set £2,000 as a target to cover a memorial and a significant donation, but the more we raise the more difference we can make.

Thank you!
