My name is Michael Phanthavong. I am fundraising money for my Mom, Thongkhan Keota Phanthavong. My mom has lived a hard life; she struggled with addiction for most of it, and it ruined her life. The one thing her addiction did not ruin, however, is the unwavering love of her children and family members. Through it all, we supported her and loved her so much. Just as she started to become serious about changing her life for the better, my mom was sadly taken from us last night, 6/23/2025, being hit by a vehicle whose driver is still unknown.

I am truly blessed and thankful that my mom gave me life. No matter her life's choices, for better or for worse, she was and will always be my mom. It's heartbreaking for those words to solidify now that she has passed. I do not want her memory to be of addiction and turmoil, but of strength and perseverance. My mom was not perfect; she was shackled by her addiction but still loved us all in her own way. If my mom could tell her story, it would have been a story of strength and beauty. She is so beautiful to me. It pains me so much to even make this. I am asking as a father, husband, brother, and son, we are not well off, so any amount that you can donate to her funeral costs truly helps. My family and I are most truly thankful for your donation.
