It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shontell Woods, a beloved sister, friend, fill in parent, cook and lover who left us unexpectedly. She was 54 years old.

Shontell was known for her warm laugh, loving heart, ability to make an amazing meal, her resilience, and the way she could light up a room with her presence. She faced life’s challenges with courage and grace, and those who knew her will remember her for the kindness and giving heart she extended to others, even in difficult times.

She is survived by her loving family, including her mom Dorothy Jackson (Mike Leavitt), Father Jack Woods, Lover of her soul and life partner Larry Foy, (kids she helped raise Anastasia Foy & Jared Foy), brother Shane Woods, sister Sheralee Woods. Including many friends that she treated and fed like family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial will be held to honor her life and legacy at her residence at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions to help cover final arrangements and celebrate her memory with dignity.

May she rest in peace, and may her spirit live on in the hearts of those she touched.
