Help Us Remember Rich Banta with a Park Bench
Donation protected
On September 27, 2024 we said our final goodbyes to our beloved dad, grandpa, brother and friend, Rich Banta. Rich was a proud son of River Rouge & Downriver Detroit, Michigan. His rebel spirit and unwavering commitment to calling out all bullshit has left an indelible mark on the lives of countless individuals in Michigan and beyond. His sharp wit, dry sense of humor, and love for his family and community will be deeply missed.
As a way to honor his memory and leave a lasting legacy in the homeland that meant so much to him, we are raising funds for a memorial park bench in one of Richard’s favorite spots, Bishop Park in Wyandotte, Michigan. This bench will not only serve as a place for reflection and rest but also as a tribute to a man who will be truly missed.
Our goal is to raise $2000 to cover the cost of the memorial bench, its installation, and a small plaque with his name and a message that reflects the love and admiration we have for him.
This bench will be a lasting tribute, offering a place where family, friends, and future generations can sit, reflect, and remember Rich. It’s a small way to keep his spirit alive in the heart of the community he loved so much.
We would be incredibly grateful for any contribution, no matter the size. Every bit helps us get closer to making this meaningful tribute a reality. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to us.
Thank you for helping us honor Rich’s memory in a way that will bring comfort and joy to many who knew him.
With love and gratitude,
Roxy & Banta* Family
