It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Rachel Rangel on July 14, 2025, in Yuma, Arizona. Rachel was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and faithful servant in her church community. Her warmth, strength, and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by brother Daniel Torres, sister Adelina Cordero, daughters Sandra and Betsey, son Christopher Rangel, grandsons Vincent and Dominik, son George Rangel, daughter-in-law Eva Rangel, granddaughters Kiera, Zoe, and Roxy. She is preceded in death by her youngest son, Gabriel Rangel, Peter Ortiz, and sisters Emma, Francis, and Maria.
Rachel lived a life full of compassion and kindness. She relished being surrounded by her loved ones at family gatherings. Whether lending a helping hand, leading with prayer, or simply sharing her radiant smile, she made everyone feel seen and cared for. For the last several decades, her faith was her foundation, and she spent much of her life actively serving in her church, guiding many through love and support.
We appreciate all of the phone calls, thoughts, love, and prayers we have received.
We are raising funds to help cover the final costs so we can celebrate her life in a way that reflects the beauty of her spirit.
If you are unable to donate, we ask that you keep Rachel and our family in your prayers and share this fundraiser with others who may wish to contribute or support.
Information on final arrangements will be available in the next few weeks.
Thank you for standing with us during this time of loss. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express.
With gratitude,
The Rangel Family
