In Loving Memory of Justin Patrick Ryan

On July 27, 2024, we lost someone truly special. Justin Patrick Ryan passed just one week after his 30th birthday. His passing was sudden and heartbreaking, and he is deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Justin was kind, reliable, funny, and full of love. He was always smiling, dancing, and making people feel safe and seen. From Tonawanda to South Buffalo to Florida, he made a home in the hearts of the people he loved, and they found home in him.

Today, July 27, 2025, marks one year since Justin left us. As I create this GoFundMe, I do so with a full heart and the hope of giving everyone who loved him a way to honor his memory. Right now, his ashes are with his mom and me, but we know many people who cared about him don’t have a place to visit, reflect, or say hello.

That’s why we are creating a memorial in his honor. A tree and plaque will be placed in Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna, giving everyone who loved Justin a space to gather, remember, and feel close to him again. This memorial will be a lasting tribute to who he was and the love he gave so freely.

We are using this GoFundMe as a way to invite everyone who loved Justin to be part of this project. It is also a way to share this memorial with others, and to make sure everyone who would want to visit him in this way has the opportunity to do so.
