In Loving Memory of Juan Hernandez - Our Comedian, Adventurer, and Aqua Fresca King

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Juan Hernandez, a son, a brother, an uncle, a godfather, and a man of deep faith and even deeper love. Juan left us suddenly on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the age of 51. And while our hearts are broken, we’re also overflowing with memories of his booming laugh, big energy, and even bigger heart.

If you knew Juan, you know he was loud, in the best way possible. He didn’t just enter a room; he announced himself. He cracked jokes, made you laugh when you didn’t want to, and never missed a chance to say, “We have a comedian now!”

He loved hiking and would often FaceTime us from the top to show us the view saying “Where y’all at?” He loved bike riding at the beach and cruising down Hollywood Blvd, catching a vibe like only a true Angeleno can. He never went anywhere without his hat, and if he did, you’d better believe we heard about it.

Juan was a memory maker. He was the guy who begged for a group photo even when everyone groaned. He knew that the time with family was precious, and he wanted proof of every moment. He believed that together, we’re a thousand-fold strong; he lived that truth every single day.

We’re raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and support our family as we try to honor Juan the way he deserves - with love, laughter, and maybe a few gallons of his legendary agua frescas. Seriously, the man could’ve opened a stand.
