It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Brenda Renee Chavira, known to many as Brandy. She peacefully passed away in her sleep on Sunday, December 8, 2024, due to cardiovascular issues.

Brandy was a vibrant, passionate member of the Highland Park community. She devoted much of her time to public service, contributing to local events such as the Christmas parades, city council campaigns, and Rose Parade float decorating. She was a familiar face, whether assisting with community events or participating as a devoted patron.

Above all, Brandy cherished her family, her neighbors, and her community. She had a deep love for God, the beach, and the joy of bringing people together. Her spirit and generosity will be missed by all who knew her.

In this difficult time, the family is accepting contributions which will be used by her children for memorial expenses. Your support will be deeply appreciated and will help honor Brandy’s memory in the way she always cherished—through community and love.
