"To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die." - Thomas Campbell
On Monday, February 28, 2022, the world unexpectedly lost Aaron Purdum.
For those of you who knew and loved Aaron, you'll know that he was an outgoing, boisterous, funny, talented, and genuine human being who truly loved his family. He was a supportive husband to his wife, Prasti, a caring father to five amazing children (Tyler, Emma, Gibson, Cash, and Lani), and a true friend to those who had the privilege of knowing him.
As his sister-in-law, I've known Aaron for two decades, and always assumed that he would be a constant presence in our lives. Aaron worked hard to provide for his family, but he also made sure to set aside time to spend quality family time with them. He recently celebrated his 49th birthday, and in true Aaron fashion, took several days off to celebrate with his family.
Our hearts are broken by this unexpected loss.
Many of you have reached out asking how you can help. Here are some ways:
We've set up this Go Fund Me campaign to raise funds to help cover cremation, memorial, estate, probate, and legal costs. Since Aaron was the primary income earner of the Purdum family, any leftover funds will be used towards general living support to the family. Please give what you can to help the Purdum family navigate this difficult time and beyond.
If you would prefer to donate via Venmo, please reach out to Prasti's sister Michelle (@MichelleDVinje) on Venmo.

We have also set up a Meal Train for those of you who are in the Seattle area and would like to provide meals for the Purdum family. See link here: https://mealtrain.com/90nzov
And finally, please help us spread the word about Aaron to those who knew him. He was a valued member of so many communities, and we want to make sure that everyone has a chance to remember him and honor him.
Memorial plans are in the works, and we will keep you posted as things progress.
