After multiple rounds of chemo, and literally fighting until her last breath, our mother passed this morning, 10/22, between 5:30 and 6 am. She was surrounded by family and close friends for days and passed the morning after receiving her last rites.
Until the very end, she was still trying to do chemo, radiation, and therapy. She mentioned multiple times, “I have to fight for my kids and grandbabies.” Family was absolutely everything to her. And when she got sick, she made it a priority to be there for her kids and grandkids.
Anyone who knew her knows how strong she was. She fought multiple battles in her life, some silent, some loud and proud. Due to multiple health issues and eventually a cancer diagnosis that she beat and returned with a vengeance, she was unable to work for many years.
We are raising money for some sort of memorial, maybe, and a repass to honor her memory.
