Help Us Relocate a Colony of Cats to Their New Forever Home!
Donation protected
Our rescue is embarking on an exciting new project we’ve never done before—relocating an entire colony of cats to a new and safer environment. We were granted permission to feed and shelter them through the winter, but now, as the weather warms, we are tasked with moving them from the business they currently reside at.
Thankfully, one of our dedicated members has generously offered an outbuilding at her home to house the colony and will also provide them with daily care. This colony is very much a family, so keeping them together is essential. ❤️
We’ll be renovating a 10 x 12 shed to serve as their new cattery, as well as building a 10 x 10 catio to give them a safe outdoor space. Our first priority is getting the cattery ready, and we have just 6 weeks to complete this part of the project.
Once the cattery is complete, we will move on to building the catio and, if funds allow, we hope to run power to the shed this summer.
The entire project will be carried out by our team, with the invaluable help of a talented foster dad who is also a carpenter. Later this summer, we will seek a volunteer electrician to assist with the electrical work.
