My company worked for a company for more than three months. When we started, it was only a three-week project. As we worked on the project, the project manager kept adding work to the project, and we kept completing the work as he asked. We signed a contract to be paid in one check at the end of the project. Of course, we signed it when it was less than a month project. We honored the contract and kept working and paying everything out of pocket until we were paid at the end. We completed the projects and painted both units. We were on the last couple of days on touch-up, and he fired us. He didn't pay us anything for our labor. I am suing him in a civil lawsuit. I was trying to continue with the suit and not bother anyone. The attorney said it won't be until next year until we can get a resolution. I am hurting financially right now and need help.
