On New Year's Eve, my boyfriend and I were in a car accident that changed everything for us. At first, we thought we could manage, but as we started school full-time at Nicholls and began working full-time, the impact became clear. We recently moved out on our own, and the stress of balancing bills, school, and work has been overwhelming. With my boyfriend's car out of commission, we've been relying on my car for everything, but it's starting to show signs of wear and tear, making it even harder to keep up with our responsibilities.

We're also trying to get my boyfriend a new car so we can get to school, work, and take care of basic necessities like getting groceries, without putting so much strain on my car. Having reliable transportation is essential for us to manage daily life and keep moving forward.

As if that wasn't enough, our newest kitten, Kahli, has been facing serious health issues. She has two contagious parasites and the vet wants to run tests for several infections and feline diseases. We love Kahli dearly and want to give her the best chance at a healthy life, but the costs are simply more than we can handle right now.
