Hi everyone. Most of you who open this know me. I've always been able to manage and figure something out without asking for help usually, but this time it seems I'm in a pickle after some unfortunate, unforeseeable events back to back.
This week, we found out one of our cats was extremely sick with leukemia, anemia, or some sort of severe infection. He lost a lot of weight and started losing hair. After trying to get him help and a $350 vet bill, he sadly passed away. He was my son's first cat (he is in love with cats), and we had him cremated, which cost another $481. Two things I was already not able to afford and now have to pay back.
To top things off, yesterday morning my car's alternator went out, and somehow the belt melted and/or caught fire. Either way, it's a mess under the hood now, and I had to get it towed to a mechanic. I was informed since the car isn't old (3, almost 4 years old) that the dealership is the only place that has the parts. In order to get it fixed, it's going to cost me a whopping $1170.
And again, I never ask for help or handouts. I try and make my money by working 1 to 2 to 3 jobs. I also just haven't had luck finding a second job, and work for me has been really slow this year. I'd appreciate any help I could get. Honestly, I feel embarrassed even having to do this because it honestly isn't something I do. Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this.
