My wife and I recently returned from our honeymoon, something we saved for over a long time, only to come home and find our beloved cat in distress. We rushed them to the emergency vet, where we learned they had a completely blocked bladder and needed immediate surgery. The bill for the emergency services was a huge shock to us both emotionally and financially.

On top of this, my wife has been battling PID and requires monthly infusions to manage her health. I’m working full time and picking up DoorDash shifts after work to try to keep up, but the mounting medical and vet bills have been overwhelming. We’re doing everything we can, but it’s been difficult trying to keep up with these unexpected expenses.
