Reaching out for help like this is incredibly vulnerable, but we truly need any support we can get right now. As of December 30th, we confirmed that our home is undergoing a bed bug infestation. As tenants, we are legally obligated to pay for the exterminator, along with the additional expense of replacing our mattress. This unexpected crisis has come at the worst possible time for us financially.


Between the two of us, we are already struggling to keep up with bills. I am currently paying out of pocket for my personal trainer certification and can't break the contract, and Alex's work truck is in dire need of repairs—he relies on it for work every day. Covering the cost of the exterminator and a new mattress on top of everything else feels impossible. We are doing everything we can to stay afloat, but the financial pressure is overwhelming.
