I wasn’t going to do this. Mostly because I know life happens to everyone, and I’m no different than anyone else so I have never expected life to make an exception for me. Also because I know everyone has their own things to deal with in their own life. Anyone that knows me, knows that I power through life like with grit and grace, and a smile on my face. But a dear friend reminded me that asking for help is not the same as begging. So here it goes. On Christmas Eve, my 13 year old daughter and I were on our way back from an appointment in Charlotte. We were on i85 in heavy traffic. Which had been stop and go for a few miles. The traffic came to a stop once again, and the car behind me and my daughter did not get the memo. He crashed into us at a pretty high speed. Pushing my car into the car in front of me, and totaling my car. We are undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in the accident. But I have been left with a balance of almost 9,000 dollars on my loan. Gap insurance was not offered to me when I purchased my car two years ago, and of course the car company didn’t tell me that was something I could purchase on my own from other sources. Lesson definitely learned, but it has left me in a pretty bad bind. This was the only car I had and I can’t afford two car payments. So I am asking for help to pay as much as I can towards my current car loan. Anything helps, and prayers will go farther than you can ever imagine. I am disabled and have alot of appointments to get to, as well as appointments to get my kids too. The closest family I can rely on for help lives 4 hours from us. I definitely don’t want to be a burden on the few close friends that I have. So this whole situation has literally turned my life upside down. If you can help, my family will be forever grateful! If you can’t make a donation, and can get a prayer through, that will also be forever appreciated. I know God already has this worked out for us. Thank you for reading!
