While my family and I were eating dinner, we heard a loud thump outside. To our shock, a very large tree had fallen from our neighbor’s yard, crashing down across our property. The impact damaged the fence on both sides of our yard, totaled our only car, and left the roof of our shed badly damaged. We tried reaching out to our neighbor for help, but unfortunately, she wanted nothing to do with the situation.

With no other choice, we rented two chainsaws and eventually bought one, since it was more affordable than continuing to rent. We also had to purchase planks and other materials to start repairing the fences ourselves. The tree was so big that it covered not only our yard but also spilled over into our other neighbor’s property. We’re still working hard to get all of it cut up and cleared away, but it’s been a huge challenge for us.

We have an eight-year-old son, and losing our car has made it difficult to get him to and from school. We’re doing our best to recover, but the costs are adding up quickly. We just need a little help getting back on our feet after this unexpected disaster, and we truly appreciate any support you can give.
