Help Us Recover After the Earthquake

We find ourselves in the aftermath of a life-altering event, an earthquake that has shaken Morocco to its core. I am reaching out to you today with heavy hearts, seeking your support as Morocco embarks on a journey of recovery and resilience.

On Friday, September 8, 2023, my family’s area, Amizmiz, Ouled Mtaa and all the villages around, experienced a devastating earthquake that left no corner of their lives untouched. The ground beneath them quaked, and the world they knew crumbled. Their homes, businesses, schools, and dreams were shattered in an instant.

They now need to navigate the path to recovery, but they cannot do it alone. We need your support, your compassion, and your generosity to help them with immediate support . Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to restoring their community and healing the wounds left by this earthquake.

The funds we are collecting on GoFundMe will be used for :

Emergency Relief: Your support will contribute to provide immediate relief to those who have lost their homes, ensuring they have access to shelter, food, and essential supplies.

Education: Schools were severely damaged, and furnitures lost. Your contribution will help provide books, pens, backpacks and provide learning resources for their children.
