My husband and I were recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident that has turned our lives upside down. The accident was caused by another driver, and while their insurance is helping, it only covers a fraction of the costs we now face. My husband suffered a broken arm that required surgery and a skin graft, as well as staples in his head. He spent over a week in the hospital, and his medical bills have become overwhelming. I was also injured, with a fractured and displaced collarbone that needs surgery, and my ER bill is already significant.

On top of the medical expenses, our motorcycle and all our gear were destroyed in the accident. The financial strain has been overwhelming, especially since we have both lost our incomes for the next few months while we recover. We are doing everything we can to get back on our feet, but we simply can’t cover all these costs on our own.

Funds raised will go mainly toward my surgery and covering our medical bills. Anything extra will help us with food costs while we’re unable to work, and possibly lost belongings.
