Help Us Recover After Liver Transplant

My wife and I were married in August of 2024, looking forward to building our life together. Just a few months later, in November, our world changed when she was diagnosed with cancer. She bravely underwent surgery in February of 2025, but by April, her health began to decline rapidly. By June, she was no longer able to work, and our daily lives became focused on her care and recovery. In September, she was hospitalized with a bleeding ulcer and high liver numbers. Despite several surgeries in Helena to stop the bleeding, her condition worsened, and in October, she was life-flighted to Salt Lake City. There, she was diagnosed with liver failure and placed on the transplant list. The situation was critical, and by the end of her evaluation, she had moved to the top of the list. On November 14, 2025, she received a new liver—a moment of hope after months of fear and uncertainty. Throughout this journey, we have had to live in Salt Lake City for her care, paying for rent and hotel stays while managing mounting medical and living expenses. The support from our family and friends has been incredible, and we are so grateful. We are back in our home in Helena now, however, the ongoing costs and complications have made it impossible for either of us to return to work just yet. We are asking for your help to get us through this challenging time, so we can focus on healing and eventually return to our normal lives. Any support you can offer means the world to us.
