In a matter of days, our family was forced out of our home after a landslide made it unsafe to live in. We are a family of four with two young daughters, ages 2 and 5, now navigating an incredibly uncertain situation.

Our family is currently facing an incredibly difficult and unexpected situation after heavy rains caused a landslide at our home. Watching this unfold has been heartbreaking and overwhelming. Our focus right now is doing everything we can to keep our family safe and navigate this evolving situation.

The town has deemed our home unsafe, and we have been forced to leave the house on short notice. With little time to prepare, we had to move our entire life - including our belongings, valuables, and essentials - out of the home in just a couple days.

We’ve been working with professionals and local officials to assess the damage and determine next steps. At this point, insurance has indicated this type of event may not be covered, and while we are actively exploring all possible avenues - including municipal and legal options - no immediate assistance has been confirmed. These processes take time, and the situation continues to evolve.

In the meantime, we are facing urgent needs, including stabilizing the property, preventing further damage, and addressing impacts to our living situation as we work through what comes next.
