Four days ago, we were victims of a hit-and-run accident with an 18-wheeler Semi Truck while driving on the highway. Our car was struck and completely totaled, and our puppy was in the car at the time. Insurance will not be covering the loss, and I also sustained some injuries that required a visit to the emergency room.
