In September, my life changed in an instant when I suffered a heart attack and was clinically dead for a few minutes. Thanks to the incredible ER staff at Temecula Valley Hospital, I was brought back and woke up in the ICU with broken ribs from compressions, unsure of what had happened. During my hospital stay, I underwent surgery to have a pacemaker implanted.

When I returned home, I learned that I had lost my job and received an eviction notice. I tried to explain my situation to my employer, but the decision had already been made. Since then, I have been struggling every month to pay rent and bills, and I have applied for disability, but the process is long and uncertain. My son has been my only support, and it has been incredibly stressful for him to come up with money for our bills and rent while I recover and attend multiple medical appointments.

I am now cleared to return to work, but the financial strain has been overwhelming. I am facing overdue rent, bills, car registration, and urgently need new tires to keep my car safe. Asking for help is not easy for me, but I know I need support to keep a roof over our heads and ensure my car is safe for daily needs.
