Our neighborhood in Westby was hit unexpectedly by a terrible hail storm, leaving significant damage to our home and vehicles. The storm came out of nowhere, and we are still trying to process the impact it has had on our daily lives. Our cars were damaged so badly that some are now undrivable, and our home needs urgent repairs to be safe and comfortable again. We never imagined we would be in this situation, and it has been overwhelming trying to figure out how to move forward.

The funds raised will go directly toward repairing our vehicles so we can get to work and take care of our family, as well as making the necessary repairs to our home. My fiancée is currently in a 40-hour unpaid internship, and I have been working two jobs to keep us afloat while also caring for our 20-month-old son. This unexpected disaster has put a huge strain on us, both financially and emotionally. We are doing everything we can, but we simply can’t cover all these costs on our own.
