On Christmas Day, my dog and I went out for a walk, hoping to enjoy a peaceful holiday together. Instead, we were viciously attacked by a group of five off-leash dogs. The incident happened around noon, and both of us had to rush to the ER for emergency care. The owner of the dogs fled the scene, leaving us with no recourse and a mountain of medical bills. What should have been a joyful day turned into a nightmare, and the holidays have been forever changed for my family.

The aftermath has been overwhelming. My dog and I are both recovering from our injuries, but the costs of medical treatment, ongoing care, and therapy are more than I can manage alone. The emotional toll has been just as heavy, and I am still in shock that something so unthinkable could happen on Christmas Day. I started this GoFundMe with the hope that, after seeing the worst of humanity, I might also see the best.
