My brother and I recently lost our apartment because of a grease fire. We lived there together with our dog and two cats, and now we’re suddenly without a place to call home. I just started a new job, and my brother is disabled, which makes this situation even more challenging. Right now, we’re staying with our parents, but due to regulations at their apartments, we can only stay for two weeks. After that, we’re not sure where we’ll go.

We’re hoping to raise enough to cover a motel room or somewhere safe to stay for at least 60 days while our landlord works on fixing our apartment. The funds would also help us with food and clothes, since we lost so much in the fire. Our pets are with us, and we want to make sure they’re safe and cared for too. I’ve never been someone to ask for help, but we’re in a tough spot and could really use some support right now. Anything you can give would mean the world to us as we try to get back on our feet.
